Then you can return to the hotel, fill your belly with mouthwatering delicacies.

The next day, you will be visiting these famous places – Ancient Rumtek monastery, Chholten Stupa and Dordul after having a nice breakfast. These ancient places are still preserving the rich Buddhist culture of this place. You can get on the ropeway to get a stunning bird eye view of the surrounding areas. Once the Sun goes down, you will be escorted to the Shanti view point to experience the nature in all its pristine glory. Then you will return to hotel to have a nice dinner.

The green patches and snow-capped mountains on either side are simply stunning – it’s hard not to stop for a selfie or two! You can go see this famous spot during any time but if weather doesn’t permit then make your way over to Namchi. Next, visit Baba Mandir which is located at 13,500 feet altitude to experience a stunning panoramic sight that you will never forget for the rest of your life.

Day 04: Gangtok to Lachen Gurudongmar Lake

In the morning, take a breakfast of Indian tea before proceeding to visit Lachen. On the way to Lachen, don’t forget about stopping off at Seven Sister Waterfall or Singhik View Point. On the way, we will stop at a local restaurant for lunch. Don’t forget to taste local cuisine rather gorging on the same boring fast-food. By afternoon, we will all reach Lachen and check-in will be done in a cozy hotel.

Day 05: Lachen – Gurudongmar Lake to – Lachung

After breakfast, head to the sacred Gurudongmar Lake for Indian National visitors only. The altitude here may cause breathing problems so take it easy and avoid exerting yourself when visiting this amazing site. Gurudongmar Lake is one of the most sacred lakes in North Sikkim but this lake is only accessible for Indian nationals. After paying your respects at one of India’s most famous lakes (and taking some time out) return to hotel. After savoring some snacks, get ready to leave for Lachung. Check-in will be done in a luxurious hotel in Lachung.

Day 06: Lachung – Yumthang Valley to Gangtok

Next day, the journey will start at early morning to view the Yumthang Valley, located at 11,800 ft from the sea level. Also known as the Valley of Flowers, Yumthang Valley is one of the most popular tourist spots in Sikkim. The surroundings are breathtaking and the valley itself offers an experience like no other with its variety of colours, flowers, trees – all set against snowcapped mountains in winter or green fields during summer months!

The view from the valley is picture-perfect. You come across horses, yaks and goats grazing in a field of green as your eyes follow their leisurely wanderings up towards mountains that seem to go on forever into the distance before them. Yumthang Valley is a beautiful and peaceful place, with its rolling hills and tranquil river.

Once you have absorbed all these beauties, we will all get back to the hotel in Gangtok and have a nice lunch. On the way to the hotel, we will also come across picturesque places like Twin and Bheema waterfalls. Next enjoy a peaceful overnight stay in Gangtok.

Day 07: Gangtok to Pelling (via Namchi Char Dham)

The next morning, we will be on our way to Pelling. It is a picture-perfect town located in west Sikkim. Surrounded by leafy Pine trees, Pelling is beautiful and majestic as it can get.

The scenic drive from Gangtok to Pelling is as exciting and rewarding as the destination itself. Take some time out of your busy schedule for some relaxation in one of West Sikkim’s many tea gardens, or visit waterfalls that will assuredly refresh you! You will drive pass numerous gorgeous tea gardens, snow-capped mountains and magnificent surroundings.

If you love to catch a glimpse of the mountains and the valley in all their glory, you can always ask us to drive to Namchi. The meaning of Namchi is Top Of The Sky. Don’t forget to visit the Namchi Char Dham where you will get to see 12 Jyotirlingas and 108 feet tall statue of Lord Shiva.
