It is a great starting point to amazing treks and home to two incredible alpine lakes – Guru Dongmar & Tso Lhamu. Plus did we mention that once upon a time Lachen was actually used as winter quarters by shepherds who tended yaks on Tibetan pastures during summer? What more could one ask for!?
