North Sikkim Tour 5 Nights 6 Days

Unseen corners of North Sikkim calling. Snow touching the sky, lakes glowing like gems. In this 6-day tour, witness sights that’ll stay with you long after. From the peaceful Gurudongmar Lake to the color-soaked Yumthang Valley, it’s more than a trip—it’s a feeling. Baikunthapur Tour & Travels keeps every detail tight, making your travel comfy, relaxed. Got the mountains on your mind? This is where you start.

Kick off your journey. From NJP or Bagdogra, the road opens up, and before you know it, you’re in Gangtok. The ride—serene, green, with the Teesta River flowing by as you climb. Evening? Free to roam. The buzz of Sikkim's capital waiting for you to explore its market lanes.

Up early, you’ll hit the road to Lachen, passing Singhik View Point—you'll catch a glimpse of Mt. Kanchenjunga towering in the distance. Stops? Oh yes. Naga Waterfalls and Seven Sister Falls will steal some time. Then, arrive at Lachen, sitting calmly at 8,500 feet. The air’s clean, quiet. Settle in with dinner, a cozy night ahead.

Wake before the sun. The journey to Gurudongmar Lake is something else. Sitting at 17,800 feet, it’s one of the highest lakes on the planet, and the sight? Unreal. Return to Lachen, grab some lunch, and off to Lachung you go. By the time evening rolls around, you’re deep in the Himalayan foothills, calm surrounding you.

Another day, another wonder. Yumthang Valley, standing at 11,800 feet, a canvas of alpine flowers, grazing yaks dotting the scenery. If the skies are kind, head to Zero Point for a deeper peek into this wilderness. Then, back to Gangtok for a quiet night.

You’ve got the whole day for Gangtok. Hit up spots like Tashi View Point, Ganesh Tok, and the calming Bakthang Waterfalls. If you’re up for it, add Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir to the list (if the weather plays along). Wrap up the day by taking in the city’s lively atmosphere, it's the perfect time to just breathe it all in.

Final breakfast in Sikkim. Time to wave the mountains goodbye as you head for NJP or Bagdogra. What you’re left with? A heart full of North Sikkim memories.
