Morning comes, and after breakfast, you’ll be on your way to Jaldapara National Park, famed for its one-horned rhinos. Once you’ve checked into the resort, you have the evening to wander nearby villages or just take it easy. Dinner caps off the night at the resort.
A morning Jeep Safari in Jaldapara kicks things off today—keep your eyes peeled for elephants, leopards, and, of course, more rhinos. Then, get ready for a quick trip to Phuentsholing, the lively border town of Bhutan. Highlights here include the Karbandi Monastery and the Ammo Chuu Crocodile Breeding Center. Afterward, you’ll be back at your resort for the night.
Breakfast sets the tone for a journey to Jayanti, known by some as the Queen of Dooars. This peaceful riverside village will be your base as you trek through the nearby Buxa Fort, a place filled with history. Not far from here is Pokhri Hill, and the Rajabhatkhawa Watchtower, both known for offering amazing views and wildlife sightings. Dinner and rest come once more in Jayanti.
