Don’t wait to embark on a journey that many can only dream of—let’s make this adventure your reality today.

Arrive in Paro, where you'll be warmly welcomed by your guide. After settling into your hotel, spend the afternoon exploring Paro’s cultural gems, including the National Museum and Rinpung Dzong. These historical treasures set the stage for the adventure ahead.

Today, challenge yourself with a hike to Taktsang Monastery (Tiger's Nest), perched dramatically on a cliffside. Afterward, enjoy lunch and some more sightseeing before returning to your hotel for a well-deserved rest.

Your trek begins with a 7km hike to Jele Dzong, set at 3,480 meters. Ascend through lush pine forests, passing small farmhouses along the way. At the end of the day, camp below the ancient Jele Dzong, a fortress offering panoramic views of the valley below.

Continue trekking toward Jangchulakha, a 10km route that ascends through rhododendron forests. Along the way, keep an eye out for nomadic yak herders and their flocks, as this region is known for yak pasture lands.

Trek through high ridges and alpine wilderness for 11km to reach Jimilangtso Lake. The campsite is set near this serene body of water, where you can enjoy a peaceful night surrounded by nature’s untouched beauty.

The journey continues for 11km to Simkotra Tsho, where you’ll pass more yak herder camps and encounter spectacular views of snowcapped peaks, including the highest mountain in Bhutan, Gangkar Puensum.

This day involves a 10km trek that offers breathtaking views of the Himalayan range, descending gradually to the historical Phajoding Monastery. Enjoy the serene environment before descending toward Thimphu.

Complete the final 5km of the trek, descending through pine forests into Thimphu, Bhutan’s capital. Take a leisurely afternoon to explore the city, including stops at local markets and cultural institutions.

Spend the day diving deeper into Thimphu’s vibrant culture with visits to the National Institute for Zorig Chusum (a school for traditional Bhutanese arts and crafts), Buddha Dordenma, and the famous Takin Preserve. In the evening, drive back to Paro for your final night.

Bid farewell to Bhutan as you are transferred to Paro Airport for your onward journey.
