  Arrival in Gangtok

  Upon arriving at Bagdogra Airport or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station, you'll be warmly welcomed and driven to Gangtok, Sikkim's capital city (120 km / approx. 5 hours). The drive offers scenic views of the Teesta River and majestic mountain ranges. After checking into your hotel, unwind and explore the bustling MG Marg or simply relax. Overnight stay in Gangtok.

  Gangtok Local Sightseeing

  After breakfast, your day begins with visits to iconic spots: Rumtek Monastery , the center of Tibetan Buddhism in Sikkim. Namgyal Institute of Tibetology , home to rare manuscripts and artifacts.   A scenic road trip begins after breakfast, taking you from Gangtok to the quaint mountain village of Lachung. En route, stop at: Singhik Viewpoint , known for stunning views of Mt. Kanchenjunga. Seven Sisters Waterfall and Naga Waterfalls , cascading through the mountains. Enjoy lunch at Namok and a brief tea stop at Chungthang.   Lachung, Yumthang Valley, Gangtok

  Early morning, drive to Yumthang Valley , the famed "Valley of Flowers," standing at an elevation of 11,800 feet. Wander through colorful meadows surrounded by snow-capped mountains. Optionally, visit Zero Point (15,300 feet) for an unforgettable view of the distant snowfields. On the return trip, stop by Hot Springs and witness the impressive Bheema and Twin Waterfalls .
